In addition to the location reporting, I had a visit from the SATS police (airport security)
to make sure I did not flout the rules by going out into the community
I salute these officers as they are in a high risk job and yet they are there daily to do the leg work
One officer actually told me that some of his colleagues do not go home as they have elderly members in the family
The whole news network was focused on Covid 19
More cities around the world were in partial or total lockdown
Once vibrant and bustling cites become ghost towns
In Venice there were pigeons and no tourists

The news from the daily press conferences from various countries was grim
I carried on with my routine to keep my mind focused
I have a regime of breathing exercises which helps my lungs to work more efficiently
Breathing is out with stale air and in with new fresh air
As one ages the lungs lose its elasticity and sponginess.
Breathing exercises help to maintain healthy lung function.

Facts about virus

Knows no borders because 210 countries and territories have been affected
So far it is winning the battle against humans. The death toll keeps rising 😔
Preliminary data shows that the virus target minorities and poorer communities
Patients such as the
elderly,
smokers,
and with those with underlying conditions like high blood pressure,
obesity,
heart problems and
asthma
get sicker and more serious
Louisaz says do not despair. Scientists are scrambling to find a cure. 🙂
