I do not normally think about food but my present circumstance is not normal ☹️
I would love to have a Century egg with pickled ginger 皮蛋酸薑
This is a Chinese delicacy served as an appetiser at wedding dinners
Every culture has their own stinking or smelly foods and I do not think we should criticise one another just because we have different tastes
My neighbour bought the sought after 糖心皮蛋 (sugar heart century egg) from Hong Kong
The process is timed to perfection to get the creamy texture of the egg
It is the signature appetiser at Yung Kee 鏞記 Restaurant in Hong Kong
In my family we will make very special appetiser before our raw fish toss up during Chinese
New Year
I add a touch of class to the humble century egg
I drizzle 1 teaspoon of brandy or wine onto the century egg. Let it sit for about 30 minutes
Eat with pickled ginger.. It is just yummy 😋. Try it yourself next time

Facts about virus

pop
The virus not only attacks the respiratory system causing damage to the lungs
It also invades the central nervous system which explains why some patients report loss of sense of taste and smell as one of the symptoms
The virus may cause coagulation in the circulatory system resulting in life threatening blood clots.
This occurs in younger patients aged between 30’s to 40’s
Clots pose a lethal danger to Covid patients
Louisaz says the virus is complicated and unpredictable
